If February in your real estate market is
slow like it is here for
me in Michigan, this
is a good time for some spring planning!
We always have an increase in foreclosures
this time of year where I live. I usually do
door knocking and direct mailing to those
foreclosure notices I find in the legal news.
So I add the task - "search notices of
upcoming foreclosure sales" - to my to
do list in
February.
I also find this is the best time of year to
tweak my direct mailing letters to absentee
owners who may be thinking of selling their
rentals in the spring.
Here is another real estate investing tip:
I spend some time going through people
who are on my call back list from the
fall who
may be ready to take my offer.
On a personal note, I start the planning
phase of my flowers beds and yard
decorating for the spring. I try new things
every year. It is FUN playing in the dirt!!!!!!
